One would think Powerpoint slideshow presentations are easily transformed into video. You can set each slide to run for a set time, add transition effects, and then run it like a video presentation on your computer. Seems like a no-brainer right? It's not. (Image source Alex Litvin on Unsplash)
After 14 years of failure (12 online, 2 prior with network marketing schemes), you'd think I'd be itching for success. To a certain extent, I am- in my mind where everything is a Utopia of health, wealth, adventure and satisfying relationships. But I know there's a dark side to that picture, and I'm not ashamed to admit that side terrifies me. (Image source Tama66 at Pixabay)
'Reach for the stars,' they say. But which one? All of them??
For motivation, I've been reading a couple of books that have been collecting dust on my shelves. I never seem to get more than halfway through any of them, but that first half has some gold in there (if it didn't, I'd never bother talking/writing about it).

There's so many ways to present information online. How do you know what to choose? I mainly use articles for my sites, but is that the best way? This seems like something we should look into together, right? (Image source JESHOOTS.com on Pexels)
Today I wanted to ponder on the topic of failure. It gets such a bad rap, and yet is not only a necessary part of life but also a key ingredient in success. I wonder why that is, and how to overcome whatever blocks us from taking risks after a certain point? (Image source rawpixel.com on Pexels)
What did we learn this week? Hell if I know, but here's a summary anyway. ;P
Defining your professional character is an important part of marketing, believe it or not. Without a solid understanding of how you portray yourself to your audience, it's likely your message and tone will be too random to be effective.
I've been reading this book here and there lately, trying to absorb some information from a USA Today Bestseller- whatever that means, it's more than what I've accomplished. I'm not completely sure what I can post about the knowledge, but I found out while writing this article you can get it for free- so that's a bonus, right?
Niche this, niche that, it seems to be everywhere and it's driving people crazy. What the hell is a niche exactly? It's not the audience, although the niche will define who is listening. It's not keywords, though one can lead to the other. So what is it exactly, and what's the big deal about it anyway??

As I begin this anew, I know only one thing: that I know nothing. Learn with me, and together we will figure this out.
